| Hey everyone!
Whoa it's been over sixth months since my last post. My apologies for being REALLY flaky on this blog, but I wanted to take this chance to let everyone know that that I'm doing well. I moved with Duy to Daly City, and have started a Master's Degree in Instructional Technology at SFSU.
Okay, and it wouldn't be me if I didn't plug GGN:

| I have a cold, or a fever, or something. My mind is not working right now. But, I wanted to ask you folks advice on applying for grad school. I've decided to apply, but I am still unsure to which programs. From what I've read, it's good to find a potential professor with similar research interests who'll vouch for you during the application process, but it's been hard for me to find someone who is in the right department and studying something similar to what I intend to study.
My goal is to improve my Diojiu language skills (written, listening, speaking), learn about language pedagogy, particularly as a heritage language, and to eventually research and develop language learning materials, and teach Diojiu to whomever would be willing to pay me to teach it.
I am thinking about Second Language Studies, Applied Linguistics, Foreign Language Teaching, etc. The problem is that most of these focus on the major "foreign language" such as Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, French, Japanese, Russian, etc. If ya'll know of anyone in these fields or any nice programs, please tell me about them.
